Art Auction 2017

Here are some of the different Art Auctions we had this year at St. Marks.  These are old pictures, therefore I'm not exactly sure which item belongs to which classroom?  I have finally found time to post these pictures a mere 6 moths later.  Better late than never, right?
Our Classrooms' items are at the bottom.

 Here are our Class items:
A laminated collection of Desert Globemallows painted in watercolor.

 A paper mâché fairy house:

Our classroom cloud.  Each Raindrop in made by a child in our class.

Just some more random pictures of all our class items, as they are being set up for our auction.

Classroom Butterflies

This classroom set of  butterflies look beautiful hanging inside our classroom.  It's hard to get a picture that serves it justice.
Each child and their family was giving a large plastic butterfly to color in during Open House.  They could either color it in independently or work together.  We later shrunk them in the oven and curved them.  When shrinking them, you need to go one at a time.  They will often start to curl up into themselves, and if they do you need to pull them out of the oven and straighten them out before putting them back in.

Shrink Umbrellas

We made these little umbrellas using shink plastic.  I put a whole in the top using a hole puncher and then used bead landings with a dab of E6000 to hold them in place.

We also made some flower clips using the same method.
